Windows xp validating identity on wireless network Sexchat site without login in
I can't access the router setup page because Internet Explorer loads, then encounters an error and has to close. To fix, you go into the properties page of your wireless connection, go to "Wireless Networks" tab and then to Properties of the chosen wireless network you are trying to connect to.The driver that was installed first did not support WPA2 Bob Australia Look all you got to do is go to your wireless network connection and then you click on wireless networks then you go to properties then click on authentication then unclick enable IEEE 802.1x authenication for this network.thats all you need Go to start than go to run enter cmd type in ipconfig press space bar / release than press enter, then type ipconfig press space bar / renew wait for new ip address should be good .I decided to play with the driver, I uninstalled and then proceeded to install the driver and wallahh.... I have recently started having the Validation Identity problem. What is strange though is that my netbook is connecting to our home network - which requires no password certificate.
This seemed to work for me after I disconnected from my router and reconnected again.
Click on Properties once you select the wireless network that is having problems.
Click on the Authentication tab and now uncheck the Enable IEEE 802.1x authentication for this network box.
I went to the atheros site and downloaded the lastest driver.
Straight away windows asks for my password and it worked.
